Hi, I’m Daisy

Welcome to my page! I imagine you're curious about me and wondering if we might be a good match for collaboration—whether you're an individual seeking support or a business or organisation looking for a trainer for your team. Here, you can get a first impression of who I am.

I understand that reaching out for support can be a vulnerable— (and empowering) step. Will I find someone I can fully trust? Someone who understands what's truly important to me? Someone with the specific qualities I need right now?

Mission

My mission is to create safe spaces where individuals and teams can connect more deeply, communicate with empathy, and resolve conflicts with compassion. Through Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I support others in their journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I am committed to helping people build stronger, more authentic relationships with themselves and those around them.

Vision

I envision a world where everyone's needs matter, and empathy, honesty, and interdependance are at the core of our interactions and communication. In this world, individuals and organisations create environments that nurture authenticity, care, creativity and collaboration. People use their power With, instead of over each other to strengthen collaboration and create relationships where everyone’s needs are included.

My approach and values

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating spaces where people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a deep respect for the uniqueness of every individual and situation. I believe this is the foundation for any transformation or growth.

I draw from my training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support mutual understanding and clarity. These frameworks guide me in fostering self-awareness, improving communication, and helping people navigate challenges with compassion.

By building trust and facilitating open dialogue, I aim to support individuals, couples, and teams in developing stronger connections, resolving conflicts, and creating environments where everyone’s needs matter.

My background and experience

  • Nonviolent Communication

With 11 years of experience in practicing and embodying Nonviolent Communication (NVC), I am still deeply inspired, touched and committed to this ongoing learning process. Over the years, I have cultivated my skills through a wide range of training and practical experience, continuously integrating NVC into my work and daily life.

I have completed basic, intermediate, and advanced courses in NVC, including a Year Course on Embodying and Teaching NVC, as well as a Year Course in Mediation with Yoram Mosenzon within Connecting2Life. Many of these courses I have repeated and assisted with, deepening my understanding, embodiment and skills. I have also participated in numerous international NVC trainings and retreats, attending these events annually to deepen my knowledge and connect me with the global NVC community.

For the past five years, I’ve been teaching NVC, working with individuals, as well as businesses, organizations, and schools, helping people to communicate with greater empathy and effectiveness. In 2023, I became certified by the Center for Nonviolent Communication,

In addition, I have five years of experience as a mediator and offering one-on-one sessions supporting individuals towards a deeper sense of connection, both within themselves and with others

  • Internal family systems

My journey with Internal Family Systems (IFS) began through my exploration of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), where I was introduced to the concept of parts work. Both NVC and IFS share core assumptions about the multiplicity of the mind and the importance of understanding and integrating different inner parts to foster healing and connection. These frameworks are deeply complementary.

Inspired by Dick Schwartz’s work and his books on IFS, I felt a strong calling to deepen my understanding of our internal system. In 2022/2023, I received my certification in Level 1 IFS training, gaining a solid foundation in the model and its transformative potential.

Currently, I am deepening my skills with Level 2 training IFIO (Intimacy From the Inside Out). This is a relationship therapy that integrates the concepts of Internal Family Systems (IFS) into relational settings, using intimate relationships as a vehicle for individual and couple growth and healing.

  • Personal Life

A profound shift began in my life 11 years ago when I discovered Nonviolent Communication (NVC). After five years of dedicated study, inspired by the teachers of Connecting2life and specially Yoram Mosenzon. I felt a calling to make NVC a central part of my work. This led me to leave my 12-year career as a primary school teacher and embrace a new professional journey focused on communication, personal growth, and healing.

I’m 38 years old and live in Amsterdam with my 12-year-old daughter. I feel fortunate to have a living space that I can effortlessly transform into a welcoming workshop and session environment, allowing me to create a comfortable and inspiring setting for my work.

I feel most nourished spending time in nature, daydreaming, being with friends, other loved ones, my daughter and specially with my life partner. This is where I find my joy, liveliness, connection and love.
